Terms of use

1. Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern access to and use of the NodoSolar website and the services it offers. By browsing the site, using the solar calculator or submitting a quote request, you declare that you have read them and that you accept them in full. If you do not agree with any of their clauses, do not use the site.

2. Who provides the service

NodoSolar is a trade name operated by Thinktier OÜ, a private limited company incorporated under the laws of Estonia.

3. What NodoSolar is and is not

NodoSolar is an independent platform for information and introductions: it collects the details of your solar project and passes them to installers operating in your area so they can send you their proposals.

To avoid any misunderstanding, NodoSolar:

• Does not carry out installations and does not provide design, mounting, commissioning or maintenance services for solar systems.
• Does not sell, distribute or supply equipment (panels, inverters, batteries, structures or anything else).
• Is not a party to the contract you may enter into with an installer, and does not take part in its negotiation, price, performance, warranties or after-sales service.
• Does not act as a financial intermediary and does not offer credit, leasing or any financial product.
• Does not provide legal, tax or investment advice.

4. Free of charge and business model

Using NodoSolar is free for you. We do not charge for requesting quotes, for using the calculator or for reading the content, and requesting a quote does not oblige you to hire anything.

NodoSolar may receive payment from installers for the introduction or for the commercial opportunities they receive. That payment does not change the price an installer offers you and does not condition the information published on the site.

5. Conditions of use

By using NodoSolar you undertake to:

• Be of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
• Provide truthful, accurate and up-to-date information. Incorrect details produce quotes that are of no use.
• Provide only your own data, or that of third parties who have expressly authorised you to do so, assuming responsibility towards those people.
• Not use the site for unlawful or fraudulent purposes or in ways that harm third parties.
• Not send automated or bulk requests, attempt to access the systems without authorisation, or extract content systematically through scraping or equivalent techniques.
• Not introduce malicious code or take actions that degrade the operation of the service.

We may suspend or cancel access for anyone breaching these conditions, and discard requests that turn out to be false, duplicated or automated.

6. Requests and installer contact

By submitting a request you accept that we share the details of your project with selected installers and that both NodoSolar and those installers may contact you by phone, WhatsApp, email or messaging to deal with it.

We do not guarantee any particular number of quotes, any specific response time, or that there is installer coverage in every municipality. The proposals, their prices, timelines, scope and warranties are the exclusive responsibility of each installer, which contracts with you in its own name.

You can ask us at any time to stop sharing your request or to stop contacting you, on the terms of the personal data processing policy.

7. Nature of the information published

The content of NodoSolar — guides, comparisons, glossary, blog, price ranges and regulatory information — is informational and educational in nature. We prepare it carefully and cite official sources with their dates, but:

• The price ranges are market references as at the date indicated. They do not constitute a quote, an offer or a price commitment by NodoSolar or by any installer.
• Information about regulation, tax incentives and procedures is an indicative summary. Regulation changes and its application depends on your specific case: before making decisions, check the regulation in force and consult a tax or legal adviser.
• We do not guarantee that the content is free of errors or permanently up to date, although we review and date it.

8. Solar calculator

The calculator produces an indicative estimate from the data you enter and from general assumptions about radiation and performance. It is not an engineering design or a feasibility study. Real sizing and actual savings depend on your hourly consumption, your operator’s tariff, the roof available, shading, orientation and the equipment ultimately installed. We accept no responsibility for decisions taken solely on the basis of that estimate.

9. Intellectual property

The site, its brand, its design, its code, its content structure and the texts prepared by NodoSolar belong to Thinktier OÜ or to third parties who have authorised their use, and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law.

You may read, quote and share the content for personal or informational purposes, provided you state the source and link to the original page. Bulk reproduction, commercial exploitation and the creation of derivative works without prior written authorisation are prohibited.

Third-party names, brands and logos appearing on the site belong to their respective owners and are used solely for identification or descriptive purposes.

10. Third-party links and content

The site links to official sources and third-party pages so you can verify the information. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their privacy policies or their availability. A link does not imply association or endorsement.

11. Service availability

We aim to keep the site continuously available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend it temporarily for maintenance, updates or causes beyond our control, and may modify or withdraw features and content.

12. Limitation of liability

Within the limits permitted by applicable law, Thinktier OÜ is not liable for:

• The performance, quality, compliance, warranties or after-sales service of the work contracted with an installer, which is governed exclusively by the contract you sign with them.
• The content, accuracy or fulfilment of the commercial proposals the installers send you.
• The investment decisions you take based on the information published or on the calculator’s estimates.
• Interruptions, technical failures or data loss arising from causes beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or the rights that mandatory consumer protection rules grant to users.

13. Personal data protection

The processing of your personal data is governed by the personal data processing policy, which forms an integral part of these terms and sets out what data we collect, for what purpose, who we share it with and how to exercise your rights.

14. Changes

We may amend these terms to adapt them to legal, technical or service changes. The version in force will always be the one published at this address, with its update date. Changes take effect on publication and do not apply retroactively to requests already submitted.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of Estonia, the country in which Thinktier OÜ is established.

This choice does not deprive a consumer user of the protection afforded by the mandatory rules of their country of habitual residence. If you reside in Colombia, you retain in full the rights granted to you by Ley 1480 de 2011 (the Consumer Statute) and Ley 1581 de 2012, and you may turn to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio or to the competent Colombian courts.

Before going to court we would be grateful if you wrote to us: most disagreements are resolved directly.
